GCOE celebrates National Education Day
JAMMU : Government College of Education Jammu today remembered the first Education Minister of India Maulana Abul Kalam Azad on his birth anniversary.
On the occasion, the NSS unit of the GCOE organised a symposium on the topic “Development in the field of Education after Independence”. The event was chaired by Prabhjot Kour.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Kulvinder Kour, Principal of GCOE said, “We all should work together to realize the dream of Abul Kalam Azad and use modern-day technological innovations in fulfilling demands of higher education in the country”.
The Students participated in the competition enthusiastically and made the event more meaningful and significant. The participating students expressed their thoughts on the contribution of Maulana Azad through their poetry.
The program was adroitly conducted by Dr. Shubhra Jamwal along with Prof. Sarita Dogra, Prof. Shapia Shameem Bhatti, and Prof. Seema Kumari.
The jury was composed of Prof. K.K. Mangotra, Prof. Radhika Mahajan, and Dr. Tahira Shah. Winners will be declared on the official website of GCOE by 13th of November 2021.
The program ended with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Shubhra Jamwal the convener of the Organizing Committee.
