GCW Bhagwati Nagar organises online essay writing competition

Jammu: An online essay writing competition was organized by departments of Punjabi and of Dogri, GCW Bhagwati Nagar.
The topics of the competition were “Economic and social impact of COVID-19” and “Miseries faced by the laborers during Lockdown”. Students from different degree colleges of J&K participated in this competition.
The competition in Punjabi was judged by Dr. Surjeet Kour HOD department of Punjabi GCW Gandhi Nagar Jammu and Dr. Sanobar HOD department of Punjabi GCW Parade.
Arya Gupta, Sandeep Kour, Kulbir Singh and Dalvinder Kour all from SPMR college of Commerce Jammu secured first, second and third positions respectively.
In Dogri the competition was adjudged by Dr. Joginder Singh Associate Prof., MAM College Jammu and Dr. Sandeep Dubey, Assistant Professor Department of Dogri University of Jammu.
In this competition Priya Sharma from GCW Kathua, Kuldeep Kumar from GDC Udhampur and Shabnum Choudhary from SPMR college of Commerce secured first, second and third positions respectively.
E-Certificates were awarded to all the winners and participants.
The competition was conducted under the guidance of Principal Professor Minnie Sharma GCW Bhagwati Nagar.
