GCW Udhampur organises signature campaign on ‘Proud to be Indian’

 

UDHAMPUR : As a part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (India@75) celebration, a signature campaign on ‘Proud to be Indian’ was today organized by Government College for Women(GCW) here on the college Campus.

The Signature Campaign was held under the supervision of Principal of the College, Prof. Minu Mahajan.

While speaking on the occasion, the Principal said that Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of Government of India to celebrate and commemorate the 75 years of progressive India. She also informed about the glorious history of India, its people, culture and achievements. She further added that such campaigns will be organized on regular intervals for the awareness of the students as well as common masses.

HOD Music, Dr. Seema Sharma; HOD Chemistry, Prof. Kewel Kumar; HOD Zoology, Prof. Sumita Rao; HOD Mathematics Prof. Ashok Kumar; HOD Urdu, Prof. Mool Raj and other senior faculty members, non-teaching staff, students and parents evinced keen interest in the signature campaign.
