GD Goenka University joins the TEDx bandwagon

Gurugram: GD Goenka University will host its first independently organized TEDx talk at its premises with 13 eminent achievers from varied fields. It is open to only 100 community members. The theme of the TEDxGDGoenkaUniversity is ‘The Butterfly Effect”

The event will commence at 10:00 am and each speaker will get 18 min slot to bring across with mind-blowing conversation. This will open house for unique gathering that will unleash new ideas, inspiration and information.

The theme of the event is ‘The Butterfly Effect’ which is derived from the thought that even the smallest things is capable of changing something, whether we can see the change in advance or not. Every thought we allow in our minds changes our brain chemistry. Each flap of a butterfly wing changes something. This TEDx highlights remarkable changes of innovators in areas of leadership, technology, entertainment and design

TEDxGDGoenkaUniversity will be comprised of 13 brilliant speakers, Dr. Vishal Rao, Bangalore based Oncologist, who has developed a low-cost voice box which allows throat cancer patients to speak even after their surgery. Pooja Pradeep, founder of ‘Letters of Love’ the global youth led initiative to make a difference to refuge crisis, Nitesh Yadav, a 16 year old android developer, Prema Iyer, Lifestyle coach Magan Kalra, a renowned business growth coach, Nasir Khan, the youngest sarpanch of Haryana, Shijini Kulkarni, a Kathak dancer and actor, Ayush Agrawal, Social entrepreneur and founder of EkkPahel-, Vaneet Chaudhary , Pranic healer and musician to name a few. The speakers were selected by a team of students to cover a wide variety of topics and disciplines.

The university is abuzz with excitement for the event. Worldwide, TEDx programs are designed to help communities, organizations and individuals to spark conversation and connection through local TED-like experiences.
