GDC Dudu Basant Garh organizes Essay writing competition

UDHAMPUR : Government Degree College Dudu Basant Garh today organized an online Essay writing competition on “Indian Freedom Movement” as a part of the weeklong celebration under the aegis of “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’.

The event took place under the supervision and guidance of Principal of the College Dr. Bhavnaish Chand. The aim of the event was to pay homage to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for country’s independence.

Students of the College participated in the event with zeal and zest and shared their views on life of Gandhi Ji and different movements during the British rule in India. Students elaborated the movements in sequence manner to show how India got freedom from British rule

In Essay writing competition, Nitu Devi, Manisha Devi and Sapna Parihar were adjudged Ist, 2nd & 3rd , respectively. Event was organized by Prof. Rahul Sharma and Prof. Pradeep Kumar Kundal in which E-certificates were given to all the winners.

The Principal of the College congratulated the winners of the competition.
