GDC Kalakote organizes inter-college online poster making, slogan writing competition

Kalakote : Government Degree College Kalakote in collaboration with the Red Cross and Red Ribbon organized two day inter-college online workshop on “Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking” under the supervision of Talat Pervez Rohella, Department J & K UT.
The poster making and slogan writing competetions were participated by the students from various Degree Colleges across J&K who highlighted the ill effects and health hazards accumulated with drug abuse.
In the Poster Making Competition, Aniket Gupta from GDC (Boys) Udhampur, Ashu Devi from GDC kalakote and Shagun Slathia from GCW Prade, Jammu, stood first, second and third respectively.
In the Slogan Writing Competition, Sakshi Kumari from GDC R. S. Pura, Jammu, Mansimran Sasan from GCW Parade, Jammu and Uma Bharti from GDC Kalakote stood first, second and third respectively.
E-Certificates were given to the winners of the competition.
Prof. Romesh Kumar Gupta, Principal of the College, exhorted upon the faculty members and students as well to take a pledge on “Better Knowledge for Better Care” which is the theme of 2020 International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.
