GDC Marh organises Science quiz competition

JAMMU: Science Club, Government Degree College Marh today organised a Science Quiz Competition under the patronship of Principal Prof. Aekta Gupta.

Students of the college participated in the quiz with great zeal and enthusiasm.

The program started with the lighting of traditional lamp by the Principal of the college and staff members.

Welcome address was delivered by Prof. Shallu Gupta (HOD Computer).

The College Principal in her keynote address stressed upon the importance of holding such activities for all round development of students. The Principal appreciated the efforts of members of the Science Club. She encouraged Prof. Hans Raj Sharma Convener of the club, Prof. Ram Dayal Quiz Master and Dr. Balwinder Saini scorer for organising the event successfully and in a graceful manner.

In his address, Prof. Hans Raj Sharma, Convener Science Club, advised the students to participate in such activities in future also.

Total four teams A,B,C & D participated in the quiz.

Vishali, Khushboo and Kavishka Sharma (Team A) of Semester 1st were the winners of the quiz.

Vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Shakun Sharma (HOD Sociology). The program was co-ordinated by Dr. Balwinder Saini (HOD Chemistry).

In the end, prize distribution was done among the winning team and consolation prizes were given to all participants.
