GDC Marh organises TB Awareness campaign

 

JAMMU : The Red Ribbon Club of Government Degree College Marh in association with J&K AIDS control society organized an intra-college poster-making contest as a part of TB Awareness Campaign. The event was held under the patronage of Principal, Prof. Aekta Gupta.

Students of the college actively participated in the activity and prepared posters highlighting the causes, effects and preventive measures related to TB. The participants were judged by Prof. Ashu Jolly (HOD, Education) and Prof. Ramdayal (HOD, Mathematics).

Muskan Chib of Sem III was adjudged first, Simran Koul of Sem III secured second position and third position was bagged by Roshni Thakur of Sem III. The winners will be rewarded with a cash prize of Rs. 1000/- , Rs. 750/- and Rs. 500/respectively.

Principal of the college, Prof. Aekta Gupta congratulated all the participants and winners of the competition. She emphasised that organising such activities related to TB awareness during COVID times is the need of the hour. The event was organized by Prof. Anjana Chib, Nodal Officer, Red Ribbon Club and coordinated by members of Red Ribbon club Prof. Sachin Kumar and Dr. Shakun Sharma.
