GDC Marh students participate in Symposium on Dogra Culture

JAMMU : Students of Government Degree College, Marh today participated in the Symposium on the topic “ Doyens of Dogra Culture and Heritage” held at Government MAM College, Jammu and Dogri Poetry recitation competition held at Govt GGM Science College as part of Iconic Festival week .

Kanchan Sharma and Rohit Kumar of GDC, Marh bagged First and Third Prize respectively in the Symposium competition. They were rewarded with cash prizes of Rs 2100 and Rs 1500 respectively. In the Dogri Poetry recitation competition Rohit Kumar of Sem- 3rd got consolation prize.

College Principal Prof Aekta Gupta applauded the students for bringing laurels to the Institution and encouraged them to fetch more achievements in the future. Prof Aekta Gupta also appreciated the efforts of Assistant Prof Satish Kumar and Assistant Prof Sachin Kumar Bhagat for mentoring the students and greeted them for this achievement.
