GDC Nowshera hosts Online National level Quiz competition

Nowshera: Department of Botany Government Degree College, Nowshera celebrated this year’s World Environment Day by organizing a National level Online Quiz “How much do you know about the environment?”

The quiz was organized by Pooja Devi, Assistant Prof Botany, under the supervision of Dr. Surinder Kumar, Principal of the college.

More than 120 responses were received from different institutions including Higher Secondary Schools, Colleges and Universities from across the country.

Nine participants scored 100% marks, 10 of them got 90% and 30 obtained 81% scores.

The students who secured first rank were Payal Sharma from GGM Science College, Jammu; Tania Choudhary from NNP Hr. Sec. Nowshera; Mehak Sharma from GDC Hiranagar; Shivam Chalotra, Samriti Kumari, Raveena Koushal, Mitali Sharma, Sumit Padial, Mehak Sharma and Roshni Sharma from GDC Kathua. The toppers shall be awarded e-certificates of merit.
