GDC Pouni holds series of activities under “My College My Pride”
REASI : A plethora of activities were organised at Government Degree College Pouni under “My College My Pride” from December 2 to December 13 a sequel of “My Town My Pride.”
All activities were conducted under the supervision of the College Principal, Prof. Rajni Bhaga.
Different departments, NSS units and College Clubs organised a host of activities engaging students from all semesters.
To commemorate the World AIDS Day, Red Ribbon Club hosted a Poster-making and Slogan Writing Competition on 2nd of Dec. The event commenced with a formal address by Red Ribbon Club Nodal Officer, Prof. U S Liza.
On December 6, a Plantation drive was hosted by NSS Unit under the supervision of Prof. Balbir Kumar. The NSS committee members and NSS Volunteers planted numerous plants on the College campus.
Tanpreet Singh conducted a kho-kho competition on December 7. Red Ribbon Club members captured Short videos and organised a Poster exhibiting on December 8 to express their love for the institution. likeise, a Table Tennis event was conducted on December 9, 2022. Afterwards, Dr. Prem Singh organised a Lecture on “Opportunities for Career Advancement” by Prof. Balbir Kumar, HOD Economics on Dec 10.
The series of events ended with the poster making competition on Human rights on Dec 12.
The goal of the event, which was to educate students regarding various aspects of life, was thoroughly fulfilled.
