GDC Ramban hosts Women Rope Skipping Tournament; Ansoya Devi clinches title

RAMBAN : Department of Sports and Physical Education, Government Degree College Ramban today organized Intra-College Rope Skipping Women Competition here under the patronage of the College Principal Dr. Ranvijay Singh.

The tournament was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Dr Rajiv Kumar in the presence of teaching and non teaching staff of the college.

As many as 25 students participated in the event. Ansoya Devi of semester II stood first by performing 725 skipping, Anu Devi & Reecha Gouria of Semester II bagged 2nd and 3rd places respectively.

The event was held under the supervision of Physical Director, Ramandeep Kralia.

In his Address, Dr Rajiv Kumar applauded the Sports Committee of the College for holding the event. He also appreciated the students for showing great spirit.

The proceedings of the program were conducted by Dr Bharat Singh, Convener Sports of the college while the vote of thanks was presented by Prof Vickey Rattan.

Later, the Chief Guest presented trophies to the winner and runner-up. Consolation prizes & certificates were also distributed among all the participants.
