GDC Ukhral organises seminar on importance of Sanitation

RAMBAN : Government Degree College Ukhral organised a Seminar to commemorate Jal Shakti Abhiyan Day.

The Seminar was the part of the series of events being hosted by the college under the flagship program ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’.

The topic of the Seminar was “Sanitation and its importance in our lives”.

Over 120 Students participated in the program. The Patron of the College, Dr Ranvijay Singh highlighted the importance of sanitation to maintain health and hygiene. He laid stress on lower disease burden, improved nutrition and quality of life.

Prof. Iftikhar Hussain gave a graphic presentation on the measures taken by the Government to improve sanitation in our Institutions. Many Students also presented their views on the Subject of the Seminar.
