GDC Women Baramulla organises series of events; College Principal hoists tricolour on I-Day

BARAMULLA: As part of “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav” campaign, the Govt. Degree College for Women Baramulla organized week long activities for celebrating 75thIndependence Day.

Under this campaign, the college authorities organized events like sports activities, COVID vaccination drive, lectures and webinars, cross country run, poster competition and cultural programs to commemorate 75 years of India’s Independence.

Meanwhile, on the eve of celebration of Independence Day-2021, the college organized a flag hoisting cum cultural program within the College premises here today.

The program started with hoisting of the National flag followed by singing of national Anthem and flag march by students of the College.

Later, patriotic songs were sung by students of the College and a documentary on freedom struggle was showcased in the smart class room which was followed by a special lecture given by the Principal of the College, wherein she emphasized on the core values of the National movement.
