Generation achieves a significant milestone of 50,000 graduates globally

Generation, a pioneer non-profit organization that trains and places people of all ages into life-changing jobs, has recently surpassed the milestone of 50,000 graduates across the globe. The organization has transformed the lives of thousands of young adults who are now building new careers and supporting the well-being of their families.

Generation’s global employment program is one of the best in the industry that has seen 85% job placement for graduates within three months of program completion. Ninety-three percent of these learners were unemployed when they entered the program, but even those who were working saw a 3-4x increase in income than what they were making before.

Founded seven years ago, Generation now offers programs in 16 countries – Australia, Brazil, Chile, China (Hong Kong), France, India, Ireland, Italy, Kenya, Mexico, Pakistan, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Its programs provide career-specific training and placement support in 35 professions in growing fields such as technology and healthcare and have recorded over 54,000 graduates and counting.

Commenting on the milestone, Arunesh Singh, Chief Executive Officer, Generation India, said, “We are excited to announce that Generation has reached the milestone of 50,000 graduates around the world, and we celebrate the many Generation India learners who we can count among those. Our rewarding global employment program provides lucrative employment opportunities through rigorous training and support and direct connection to hiring employers. The learners from our program are extremely talented and motivated individuals who have tactfully overcome several obstacles. We are very proud of this accomplishment and look forward to supporting thousands more learners this year.”

Generation India offers a range of impactful programs for individuals and is training people for various demanding job roles like Retail Sales Associate, MSME Loan Officer, Junior Full Stack Java Developer, General Duty Assistant, Beauty Therapist, Food & Beverage Steward and many more.

The results of Generation’s global employment program are long-lasting. Close to 75% of graduates continue to get employed even six months after completing the program, and about 80% of them outperform their peers in their job life. Moreover, 90% of the program’s alumni have regarded the Generation community as immensely valuable. Generation continues to expand the breadth, depth, and durability of its employment programs and serves job seekers of all ages with a growing roster of available programs and geographies.
