Genesis Global School hosts veteran naturalist Jennifer Nandi at GGS Conversations 2024
New Delhi: Genesis Global School, one of NCR’s most reputed international educational institutions, recently hosted noted naturalist guide, trekker and writer Ms Jennifer Nandi as part of GGS Conversations 2024. The latest edition of GGS Conversations allowed over 300 students from Grade 6 to 12 to gain insights into the experiences of the 74-year-old passionate naturalist and imbibe learning for life through an interactive session that focused on the need of a healthy mind and body. GGS Conversation, being held consecutively by the international school, has been graced by several eminent personalities from various walks of life, including sporting legends Baichung Bhutia, Abhinav Bindra, Jwala Gutta and Milkha Singh, as well as luminaries such as former Indian Ambassador Gurjit Singh, actor Sanjeev Bhasker, former ministers and many more.
Sharing her thoughts on the successful conclusion of GGS Conversations 2024, Genesis Global School Promoter & Director Ms Sanamdeep Chadha said, “The idea behind GGS Conversations is to help students take inspirations and learning from real-life experiences of stalwarts from diverse domains. It allows students to meet and have one-on-one interaction with their role models, giving them a chance to air their doubts and ask questions directly to these personalities. We take pride in enabling such constructive interactions for the young & creative minds.”
Ms Jennifer Nandi, who shared inspirational stories from her schooling days while encouraging the students to follow their heart & passion, said, “The young souls must never refrain from listening to their heart and following their passion. It is, however, equally important that due attention is given to ensuring a healthy mind and body. As humans, we must be willing to continue to learn at every stage of one’s life, to be happy, active and unstoppable.” Referring to her new book, ‘No Half Measures’, which was discussed as part of the session, she added that it appreciates the natural history and its ability to raise consciousness among all.
Being conducted intermittently since the inception of Genesis Global School Noida, Genesis Conversations is an interactive platform where students get to meet eminent personalities from various walks of life. The one-on-one interaction gives the students a chance to air their doubts and ask questions directly to the experts. The next edition of GGS Conversations is slated to be held in July 2024.
