Girl students participate in Yuva Tourism Club events

 

ALIGARH  : The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Girls’ School organized various activities to create awareness regarding tourism and promote it under the banner of “Yuva Tourism Club”.

Ms. Amna Malik, Principal and Ms. Arshi Z. Khan, Vice Principal said that various competitive events were organized to provide the students with exposure to the rich and diverse cultural heritage of India and its civilization value. These activities were meant to enhance a sense of belongingness in the students for their country.

In the Logo design competition, Zunaira won the first prize, while Rizwa Rabbi and Nabeeha Siddiqui won the second and third prizes, respectively. Areeba Gulrez was given the consolation prize.

Tabish Fatima and Lipi Lavanya Bhardwaj shared the first prize in the Essay Writing Competition, while Kulsoom Haider and Sadaf Fatima jointly received the second prize. Aaradhya Chaudhary was declared third.

The first prize in the My Shot Competition was won by Zynah Atif while the second and third prizes went to Aliza Abrar and Sukaina Hasan, respectively.

In the Quiz Competition, Level 1 (Class IX to XII), Riya Senger and Sundus Mumtaz won the first prize, while Zoya Fatima and Sidra Raheemi were declared second and third prize winners.

Under the Level 2 (Class VI to VIII) category, Kavya Bhardwaj won the first prize, while Inaya Firdaus, Rida Fatima and Aaradhya Chaudhary shared the second prize and the third prize went to Akshra Saxena.

Madiha Imran won the first prize in the Painting competition for the students of Class IX to XII, while Zunaira and Sarah Vaqar shared the second prize and Namra Tauseef and Hiba Fatima shared the third prize.

In the poster-making competition for the students of Class VI to VIII, Sonam Khan, Sumayya Shakeel and Kashifa Aiman respectively won the first, second and third prizes.
