Golf Tournament organised under Iconic Week Festival at Tawi Golf Course

JAMMU : Iconic Week Festival started by the Jammu & Kashmir government to promote tourism activities in the region continued well through the day. Tourism Department Jammu in collaboration with Tawi Golf Course today organised a Golf Tournament “Ladies Putting Competition’ at Golf Course Sidhra Jammu.

Golf players from different parts of the country participated in the competition and appreciated the efforts of the Tourism department for organising such events.

Commissioner JMC, Avny Lavasa was the chief guest on the occasion, while Secretary Golf Course Sidhra Manav Gupta was guest of honour, Nodal Officer from tourism Department Tanvi Gupta was also present.

While speaking on the occasion, Commissioner JMC said that such events provide women an exposure and these activities should be organised throughout the year.
