Government Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu Celebrates World Health Day

Jammu: Government Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu celebrated the World Health Day by hosting an awareness event.
The program was attended by patients, their attendants, medical officers, and paramedical staff of the Hospital.
The inaugural address was delivered by Dr. Vandana Dogra, Medical Superintendent of Government Ayurvedic Hospital. She spoke on the theme of World Health Day 2021- Building a fairer and Healthier World and ensuring health equality to all the vulnerable sections of the society.
She also briefed about the need for AYUSH interventions for health and wellness in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic.
The Program was also attended by Assistant Director Unani Dr. Shujad Ahmed Shuja. Specialists from various departments highlighted the importance of various treatment modalities in the maintenance of health and wellbeing which are not only time tested, cost effective and but effective in meeting various day to day health challenges and even non –communicable diseases.
