Government ITI for women contributes 14 lakh masks in war against corona virus

With the aim of transforming the mission Fateh into the ground reality announced by the Chief Minister of Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh, the Director of Technical Education and Industrial Training Department Mr. Vimal Kumar Setia today visited the local government ITI (Women) and expressed his gratitude towards the contribution of the staff of the institution in the war against the Corona virus.

On the occasion, Mr. Setia said that under the visionary guidance of Cabinet Minister Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi and under the directions of Principal Secretary of the department Mr. Anurag Verma , all the government institutions have made a historical contribution by making 14 lakh masks in the war against the COVID-19. This novel initiative towards the humanitarian cause by the department has attracted the appreciation from the Chief Minister of the State, Captain Amarinder Singh and the Cabinet Minister of the Union Government, Mr. Mahendra Nath Pandey.

Mr. Shamsher Purakhalvi, the Principal of the institute on the occasion said that it was due to the decent leadership of the senior officials of the department that a contribution of 44561 masks on behalf of the institution was made in War against corona virus. He assured the Director Mr. Setia that he would undertake a comprehensive campaign for the success of Mission Fateh with the concerted support of the entire staff.

Among others presented on the occasion included Mr. Anil Grover Regional Director Skill Development, RIC Incharge Mr. Kuldeep Singh, Superintendent Mr. Avtar Singh, Mr. Rakesh Dhalla, Mr. Varinderpal Singh Khalsa, Placement Officer Mr. Paramjitpal Singh, Mrs. Upasana Atri, Mrs. Darshana Kumari, Mrs. Amritbir Kaur Hundal, Mrs. Jasvir Kaur, Mrs. Rajni Banga, Kumari Alka, Miss Arshdeep Kaur and other staff members of the institute.
