Government Medical College Jammu hosts Lecture on Radio Diagnostic Services

Jammu: The Department of Radiodiagnosis, Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu, today organized a lecture on Radio Diagnostic services.

Dr. Kulbhushan Gupta, HOD, Department of Radiodiagnosis delivered the keynote lecture as a part of Continuous Medical Education (CME), on the analysis of data of patients referred by the various departments to the department of Radiodiagnosis.

Dr. Kulbhushan Gupta, stressed upon better coordination between the clinical side and the diagnostic departments.

Dr. Ankita Saryal from the department gave a detailed presentation of the patients’ data from February 11 to February 15, 2021.

Dr. Shashi Sudhan Sharma, Principal GMC and AH Jammu was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

She suggested providing short term training in Radio diagnosis to residents and junior doctors from clinical departments in order to further improve the emergency services.

The talk was followed by a lively interactive session in which faculty enthusiastically interacted with Dr. Kulbhushan Gupta.

Dr. Ashok Sharma, Coordinator, Medical Education Unit, suggested to make SOPs in the department and impressed upon uplift of the departments in every possible way.

The program was attended by HOD’s, faculty members and medicos from various departments of GMC Jammu.
