Governor of Sikkim felicitated the representative of Nursing fraternity

Governor of Sikkim Shri Ganga Prasad today felicitated the representative of Nursing fraternity of the STNM Hospital and offered token of gratitude on the occasion of International Nurses Day at Raj Bhavan.
Four senior nursing officers led by Mrs. Rajani Barfungpa, Nursing Superintendent STNM Hospital were present on the occasion.
The team apprised the Hon’ble Governor on the special preparatory exercises and activities such as training and other drills for COVID 19 dedicated hospital established at STNM by the government and mentioned that sufficient nursing staff have been deployed and kept as standby to cope with any eventuality.
Hon’ble Governor expressed his pleasure on the level of preparedness and exhorted the nursing fraternity to remain dedicated and committed as frontline warriors at this testing time of COVID 19 crisis. Hon’ble Governor also acknowledged the selfless service and compassion with which the nursing fraternity discharge their duty as backbone of our health care service and conveyed his greetings and best wishes on the special occasion of International Nurses Day 2020
