Govt services qualifiers felicitated at Residential Coaching Academy (RCA), Aligarh Muslim University
Aligarh : Residential Coaching Academy (RCA), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) felicitated its 15 students who have qualified various competitive examinations for government services.
These RCA students have cracked UPSC-Civil Services, Bihar-PCS, Uttar Pradesh-PCS, Judicial Services, Staff Selection Commission – Combined Graduate Level (SSC-CGL), Assistant Conservator of Forest and Range Forest Officer (ACF/RFO) and Combined State Engineering Services (CSES) examinations.
They have been given postings in various capacities. The list includes Mohammad Jafar (Deputy Collector/ Assistant Director, Social Welfare Department), Md Ataul Haque (Block Panchayat Raj Officer), Sadaf Alam (Revenue Officer), Satendra Kumar (Revenue Officer), Shoeb Akhtar (Assistant Engineer-Civil), Naseem Ahmad (Assistant Engineer-Civil), Salman Mairaz (Senior Lecturer DIET), Mohd. Nazre Alam (Labour Enforcement Officer), Waseem Ramzan Dar (Jammu and Kashmir PSC Exam qualifier), Aisha Naseem (Range Forest Officer), Akmal (Uttarakhand PCS Judicial Exam Qualifier), Ayesha Farheen (Uttarakhand PCS Judicial Exam Qualifier), Ameer Alam (SSC-CGL qualifier), Mohammad Aziz (SSC-CGL qualifier) and Md Jawed (SSC-CGL qualifier) who were today felicitated in a special function held at RCA, AMU.
“The qualified candidates have once again underlined AMU’s status as a centre for academic excellence and sound professional training. At the RCA, we regularly conduct motivational sessions by inviting special resource persons, mock tests and interviews, group discussions and presentations for personality development,” said Prof Imran Saleem, Director, RCA.
Distributing certificates of excellence and mementoes to the RCA students, Prof M M Sufyan Beg (Principal, ZH College of Engineering and Technology) said, “AMU stands proud to see RCA students excelling in challenging endeavours in our culture of competition and meritocracy”.
Prof Asiya Chaudhary (Deputy Director, RCA) said, “We are proud of the performance of RCA students. Many of them have overcome tough socio-economic challenges and proven their mettle”.
Sablu Khan (Assistant Professor, RCA) conducted the programme, while Dr Gaurav extended the vote of thanks and Omar S Peerzada (Public Relations Officer) delivered the concluding remarks.
In 2021, 16 RCA students have so far appeared for the UPSC-CSE Mains Exam after qualifying the Prelims and five of them have made it to the interview stage.
Meanwhile, senior bureaucrats, psychologists, and administrators such as Rajen H Khwaja (IAS Retd and former Secretary to the Govt of India), Naved Masood (IAS Retd), MF Farooqui, (IAS Retd), Kashmir Singh (IPS Retd), Mohd Waseem Ul Haq (IRS Retd), Nurul Hasan (IPS), Razi Ahmad (ADJ Retd), Waseem Akram (IPS) and Prof SM Khan (Department of Psychology, AMU, Aligarh), who have been in panel list of RCA Mock Interviews are thoroughly impressed with the performance of the candidates and are of the opinion that the likelihood of their selection is very high.
