GPGCW Gandhi Nagar organises training for non-teaching staff on Microsoft Office Tools

JAMMU : Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in collaboration with Department of Computer Applications, Government Post Graduate College for Women(GPGCW), Gandhi Nagar today organised a one day training programme on “Microsoft Office Tools” for non-teaching staff.

The programme was organised under the patronage of Principal of the College, Dr. Sangita Nagari. In her address, she emphasized that this programme will help the Non –teaching staff to learn new computer skills and enhance their capabilities.

The organizing committee comprised Dr. Suresh Bhat (Convenor), Dr. Anuradha Gandotra (Co-Convenor), Prof. Mamta Kundal (Organising Secretary) and Prof. Ambica Kumari (Organising Secretary).

Assistant Professor in Computer Applications, Rohit Gupta was the Resource person of the event. Having vast experience and knowledge in the subject, he shared the same with the participants in a very easy and lucid manner. The training programme engaged the non-teaching employees in several hands-on exercises on MS Office Tools which will prove beneficial for them in their future assignments.

Prof. Ambica Kumari moderated the programme and Prof. Mamta Kundal presented Vote of thanks.
