Gram Sabhas held across Udhampur to take feedback on Govt schemes

Udhampur: Marathon Gram Sabhas were held today across Udhampur district to take feedback from the PRI representatives and locals on the implementation of the Government schemes.
The visiting officers, while interacting with the people, had an elaborated feedback on status of implementation of all government schemes in the area. They enquired from the Panchayat representatives and public about the utilization of powers devolved to them under different departments
Several other activities were also held including inauguration of newly completed works, holding of sports activities, laying of foundation stones for new works, discussing of MGNREGA and 15th FC plans, Inspection of works, Distribution of Domicile certificates, KCCs, Ayushman Bharat golden cards, Cleanliness drives, Grehpraveshs of PMAY beneficiaries etc.
PRIs and people projected various issues related to road connectivity, drinking water supply, damage of crops, release of pending payments of MGNREGA, lack of staff in Education institutions, irregular power supply Sanctioning of new water scheme, etc.
