Great Learning and NUS Business School offer new online executive education programmes in leadership and data-driven decision-making
New Delhi : Great Learning, a leading global ed-tech company for professional and higher education, in collaboration with the National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School, has announced the launch of two executive education programmes: Future Leaders Programme (FLP) and Practical Decision Making Using Data Science Programme (PDDS).
NUS Business School is known for providing management thought leadership from an Asian perspective, enabling its students and corporate partners to leverage global knowledge and Asian insights. The school has consistently received top rankings in the Asia-Pacific region by independent publications and agencies, such as The Financial Times, Economist Intelligence Unit, and QS Top MBA, in recognition of the quality of its programmes, faculty research and graduates.
The Future Leaders Programme is designed for first-time and middle managers who aspire to build their leadership skills, and entrepreneurs who need to lead as they scale up their organizations.
It takes a structured approach towards enabling young managers to become effective leaders. The 3-month online programme focuses on professional growth, developing self-awareness and tangible skills in learners that can be applied to real-world situations. The programme will help learners increase their emotional intelligence, recognise biases, read the early signs of emerging conflicts, understand people’s motivations, put structure to these challenges and find practical solutions using frameworks and tools.
The Practical Decision Making Using Data Science Programme is best suited for mid to senior managers who have a strong understanding of their respective domains and wish to learn analytics to aid their decision-making skills.
It provides an in-depth and comprehensive journey in Data Science from the lens of a business manager. Through the 6-month online programme, learners will harness the skills required to analyse data and extract information to make sound business decisions. The curriculum also includes six projects including a Capstone Project that would prepare learners to tackle real world business problems with data.
Both programmes are available to learners in India and globally. The comprehensive curricula are developed by NUS Business School and will also include sessions by Great Learning mentors and industry experts. The carefully designed assignments and activities will enable learners to understand the concepts better. Upon successful completion of the programme, learners will also receive a Certificate of Completion from NUS Business School.
Jai Arya, Head, Executive Education, NUS Business School, said, “In today’s volatile business environment, we see managers seeking knowledge on leadership and learning how to make better decisions using data. Our curricula, which take Asia’s unique business environment into account, will let learners gain greater clarity in their next steps forward.”
Speaking on the collaboration Mohan Lakhmaraju, Founder and CEO, Great Learning said, “We started Great learning 8 years back with a mission to enable young professionals accelerate their careers through high quality, transformational education.
