Green J&K: SFD Jammu conducts plantation drive at Roopnagar

Jammu: In continuation to the Green-J&K drive, the Social Forestry Division, Jammu today carried out plantations, here at Roop Nagar.
Regional Director, Social Forestry Department, Jammu, Mohinder Kumar Gupta planted sapling of Chinar tree.
Divisional Forest Officer, Social Forestry Division, Jammu, Hitashi Sharma, local residents of the Colony, staff of the Department planted around 60 saplings of different species.
A similar plantation drive was conducted yesterday at Sidhra near Forest Check Post, where the staff of the Social Forestry Department, along-with the local Corporator, planted saplings of different species in the roadside strips.
The staff present included Mohinder Kumar Gupta, Regional Director, Social Forestry Department, Hitashi Sharma, DFO, Social Forestry Division, Jammu, Range Officers of Social Forestry Range, Jammu and City Subash Uppal, Dinesh Joshi and other field staff.
