Gujarat CM clears solar plants, worth Rs. 13.61-Cr, for use of solar energy for water treatment, sewage treatment plants
With a view to further promote ‘Green Energy’ in state; Chief Minister Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani has cleared proposals for installation of solar plants, at a total cost of Rs. 13.61-crore, to use solar energy for as many as 15 water treatment plant and/or sewage plants of 11 nagarpalikas.
These solar plants would approximately generate 2,835k.w power. The generated solar energy would also make saving worth of Rs. 2.94-Cr in the electricity bills.
These eleven nagarpalikas are: Bardoli, Umargam, Botad, Songadh, Vijalpore,Ankleshwar, Jambusar, Navsari, Vyra, Unjha, and Surendranagar.
