Gujarat CM Congratulates nurses for their devotion to services in the current situation of Covid-19 outbreak
The Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani held video conference conversation with frontline worrier nurses who are engaged in taking care of Covid-19 infected patients across the state hospitals. On the occasion of International Nurses Day on 12th May, he expressed his gratitude and had a video conversation with nurses.
The Chief Minister congratulated the nurses for performing their duty to serve patients by forgetting their home-family children in the difficult times of the current situation. Inspiring these nurses, the Chief Minister said that while there are no relatives of Covid-19 infected patients in the hospital to take care, you are serving the society and nation as Corona’s frontline warriors by taking care of patients like relatives.
He also remembered “Lady with the Lamp” Florence Nightingale who used to take care of soldiers injured in battle even at night with candle. Florence Nightingales birthday is celebrated as International Nurses Day.
The nurses also expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister for his inspirational and encouraging conversation on the occasion of International Nurses’ Day. Nurses also assured their full cooperation in the efforts of the state government under the leadership of the Chief Minister to fight against Covid-19. Health secretary Dr. Jyanti Ravi remained present during this conversation.
