Hackathon “Career Guidance: Russia and China”

The student project office “PRO.UM” of the Pedagogical Innopark of PetrSU hosted a career guidance conference “Hackathon: Russia and China”, timed to coincide with the Children’s Day.
Within the framework of the meeting, projects of students of the Department of Theory and Methods of Primary Education (TiMNO) under the guidance of Associate Professor Irina Vasilievna Komarova were presented.

Irina Vasilievna Komarova , Associate Professor of the Department of the Department of Information and Technology, Head of the Student Design Office , made a welcoming speech .

Within the framework of the conference, students’ projects were defended, carried out jointly with primary school students: Medvezhyegorskaya secondary school No. 3, Rassvetovskaya secondary school, secondary school No. 27 and secondary school No. 12 in Petrozavodsk, as well as from a learning school in Shanghai (China). This is not the first experience of the Student Project Office in carrying out joint projects between students in Russia and China.

For guests and participants of the event “Hackathon. Career Guidance: Russia and China” an online lecture “How do Chinese schoolchildren choose a profession?” Zhu Weiqiang, teacher at the Vocational and Technical College of Business (Nanqiao, Fengxian District, Shanghai), and Zhu Mingzhou, bachelor of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of PetrSU.

The conference invited experts . “Hackathon Career Guidance: Russia and China” made Svetlana A. Bacioi, deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of Karelia, a member of the Committee on Education, Culture, Sport and Youth Policy; Elena Nikolaevna Kolechenok, specialist in work with youth of the department of regional interaction, regional coordinator of the Russian movement of schoolchildren in Karelia, Federal State Budgetary Institution “Russian Children and Youth Center”; Alina Olegovna Mironova, primary school teacher, Petrozavodsk.
