Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences Launches the Second Phase of Arbitrations for its 26th Cycle Awards

Dubai: Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences has announced the completion of the theoretical arbitration processes for its 26th cycle awards. The second phase of arbitration, which includes personal interviews for the Distinguished Student and Undergraduate University Student awards, commenced at the Mohammed bin Zayed Educational Complex in Mizhar, Dubai, on Saturday, November 18, 2023, starting at 9:00 AM.
Interviews and visits for the remaining awards, including the Local and Gulf Distinguished Teacher, Local and Gulf Distinguished School, and Gulf Distinguished Student and Distinguished Educator, will be conducted virtually.
His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Secretary-General of Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences, stated, “The theoretical arbitration processes for the 26th cycle of local and Gulf awards has been completed, witnessing a notable increase in participants. Through this, we aim to encourage excellence, innovation, and identify academic and educational achievers. Over the years, the award has undergone numerous changes and modifications, both in the arbitration process, the application of the best and latest practices in the field, and the addition of new categories to keep pace with the rapid developments in today’s world.”
Dr. Al Suwaidi added, “We thank all those involved in the award, participants, and wish them success. We also appreciate the efforts of the arbitrators in the arbitration committees for their significant contributions to the success of the award in achieving its goals.”
The organizers of the awards noted an increase in the number of participants at both the local and Gulf levels, with the award receiving 198 submissions locally compared to 177 in the previous 25th cycle. The number of Gulf participants this year reached 88, compared to 77 in the previous cycle. In the Gulf Distinguished Student category, there were 32 participants, 34 in the Distinguished Teacher category, and 22 in the Distinguished School category.
It is worth mentioning that the award categories include Distinguished Student, Distinguished University Student, Distinguished Teacher, Distinguished Educator, Distinguished School, and institutions supporting education.
