Har Ghar Tiranga: Rajouri admin organises mega cultural program at Sports Stadium Kheora
RAJOURI : In the run up to celebrate 75th year of India’s Independence and promote ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav, the District Administration Rajouri today organised a Mega cultural program here at Sports stadium Kheora.
Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal – the Chief Guest inaugurated the event in presence of ADDC, Pawan Kumar; ADC Rajouri, Sachin Dev Singh; PO ICDS, Shoket Mehmood Malik; CMO, Dr Abdul Hamid Zargar; DSWO, Wakeel Ahmed Bhatt; Principal Govt.Degree College Rajouri,Javed Iqbal Qazi,AD FCS&CA,Arif Lone and other officers.
Students drawn from different schools and colleges presented a scintillating variety show based on patriotic themes and Nationalism. The whole environment was filled with patriotic spirit as the students sang patriotic songs and praised the national flag and its respect in the hearts of Indian citizens.
People from all walks of life and different age groups thronged the venue and hailed the District Administration for organising the Mega Cultural event to celebrate the greatness of the National Flag.
Addressing the event, the Deputy Commissioner appreciated the organizers for hosting such a grand cultural event. He said such cultural events are of great importance for preserving the country’s cultural heritage and promoting patriotism, harmony and mutual brotherhood in the Country.
“Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav provides citizens an opportunity to celebrate 75 years of India’s independence and glorious history of its people, culture and achievements,” he said.
He further said that the District Administration was organising such events to amplify the awareness about ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’- the Government of India’s initiative to inculcate a personal connect between the citizens of India and the National Flag”.
Later, the DC along with the team of officers and students took a round of the sports stadium holding the national flag in hands. The whole atmosphere of the venue was filled with patriotic spirit.
