Health camp at RHTC

Aligarh : Free consultations and medicines were provided to school students and teachers in a health camp to observe the World Health Day at the Rural Health Training Centre (RHTC)-Jawan, Department of Community Medicine, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).

“Access to quality healthcare is the right of every citizen and through this free health camp; we intend to encourage people to undergo preventive check-ups so as to avoid any untoward health scare”, said Prof Saira Mehnaz (Chairperson, Department of Community Medicine).

Dr Uzma Eram (In-charge, RHTC) with JNMC resident doctors screened the students and teachers of local schools and distributed free medicines.
