Health services camp held at Kotranka under Good Governance Week campaign
RAJOURI : Health Block Kandi today organised a special health services camp here at Jamola under the aegis of week-long Good Governance Week campaign.
The camp was held under the supervision of Dr Iqbal Malik, BMO Kandi to provide improvised public services to the village and Panchayat. Several health services were provided to the public at this camp.
The officers issued many documents on the spot including 96 old age certificates, 15 medical fitness certificates for labour cards and 9 widow certificates for pension.
Besides, the Doctors examined and treated more than 108 patients having different ailments including mental illness and provided free medicine including laboratory tests.
Later, awareness regarding COVID Omicron Variant was also imparted to the public.
People were advised to strictly adhere to COVID Appropriate Behaviour. COVID vaccine was also provided to eligible people.
Expert doctors including Dr Irm Yasmeen, Dr Farooq Tantray, Dr Arshad Mir, Dr Sumeera Malik provided medical check-up services and also distributed free medicines among the locals.
The team also screened patients for TB under HAR GHAR DASTAK with the goal of the complete elimination of Tuberculosis.
The local public along with PRIs thanked District Administration Rajouri and Health Department for this initiative providing high-quality services at their doorsteps.
