Health talk organized on scabies

ALIGARH  : The Rural Health Training Centre (RHTC), Jawan, run under the management of the Department of Community Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University organized a health talk on “Scabies” at the Junior High School, Jawan, under the supervision of Prof. Saira Mehnaz, Dr.Tabassum Nawab and Dr.Uzma Eram (Incharge, RHTC).

Dr. Shubham Upadhyay (JR2) presented the talk giving details of the causes, diagnosis and remedy to treat scabies. He also shed light on the life circle of scabies, symptoms and mode of transmission, and suggested ways to prevent its spread.

Earlier, welcoming the guests, Dr Uzma Eram underscored various aspects of scabies. Dr. Mohd Yasir Zubair responded to the questions asked by children.

Dr. Shafi Warisha Javed, Dr. Ajitha, Dr. Asma Ashraf, Dr. Anchal Negi, Dr. Abirami S and Dr. Chandramouli Mitra held an interactive session with the school children of Jawan.
