HED Director Finance inspects dev works at GDC Hiranagar

Kathua: Director Finance Higher Education Department, Abdul Majeed today visited Girdari Lal Dogra Memorial Government Degree College, Hiranagar and inspected the ongoing works under languishing scheme.

The works taken up are construction of 8 new Classrooms, 4 Laboratories and other allied works.

During the visit, he directed the concerned authorities of executing agency (R&B) to expedite the ongoing work and ensure its completion within the stipulated time period to benefit the students at the earliest.

The Principal, along with members of the College Development Committee, projected student related demands regarding construction of library block, skill development Labs, browsing centre, installation of CCTV and improvement of the laboratories and acquisition of 22 kanal of identified private land for further expansion of the college campus.

The Director Finance agreed in principle and assured that necessary funds will be provided for the works.
