Himachal Pradesh Education Minister reviews various works under RUSA

Shimla: Education Minister Suresh Bhardwaj today presided over the meeting with Public Works Department to review various ongoing civil works under Rashtriya Uchtar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA). He reviewed 20 construction works of various Colleges being carried out under RUSA.

Suresh Bhardwaj directed the officers of Public Works Department to complete maximum works by December, 2020. He said that currently in Education Department works worth Rs. 40 crore were being done under RUSA. He directed the officers to complete the building of Model College Sarahan by 31st October, 2020, on which Rs. 12 crore would be spent.

President State Higher Education Council Dr. Sunil Kumar Gupta, Secretary Education Rajeev Sharma, Director Higher Education and Director State Project RUSA Dr. Amarjeet Sharma, Engineer-in-Chief PWD Bhawan Sharma and State Project Officer Dr. Balvir Patial were also present in the meeting.
