Himachal Pradesh Governor releases Film Teaser and Poster of of “MOHRA-The divine face”

Shimla: Governor Bandaru Dattatraya released Film Teaser and Poster of “MOHRA-The divine face” prepared and directed by an independent filmmaker from Shimla Dr. Dev Kanya Thakur at Raj Bhavan, today.

On the occasion, the Governor appreciated the talent of young lady director and hoped that it will inspire other independent filmmakers also. He said that film making was the preeminent platform to showcase the rich culture of the State.

Mohra–The divine face is a full-length feature film in Kullvi dialect. This film has won first prize in story writing competition by Sahitya Academy, Government of Himachal Pradesh. The film speaks about all the rituals involved in making of Mohra.

Arjun Lotheta, Divya Sethi and Uttam Chand are the key cast in the film. This film was shot in a beautiful valley of Naagdhaar village in Banjar in District Kullu.
