Hindi Week programmes conclude
ALIGARH : Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh AMU City School, Aligarh Muslim University organized a programme to mark the Hindi Week with Prof Shambhu Nath Tiwari (Department of Hindi) as the chief guest.
Addressing on the occasion, Prof Tiwari pointed out that India’s vastness showcases diverse forms of Hindi across states, from the Northeast to South, and this linguistic diversity adds to the beauty of the language. He emphasized the importance of embracing Hindi in its simplified form and continuing efforts to learn the language.
The Programme Coordinator, Dr. Zulfikar emphasized that Hindi is the official language according to our constitution, which makes it our duty to adopt and promote Hindi in its simplified form. He presented a detailed report of the programmes held in the school to during the Hindi week.
The Principal of the school, Mr Syed Tanveer Nabi urged to adopt Hindi as the basic means of communication. He said Hindi should be the first medium of education and necessary steps are being taken in this regard under the NEP 2020.

Meanwhile, Hindi Diwas was observed at the Paramedical College of the university with Dr. Wasil Hasan emphasizing the significance of Hindi in scientific and technological studies. He discussed the history of Hindi Diwas, the global spread of Hindi language, and measures that can be used to popularize Hindi on global level.
Afeefa Ahmad, Nandini Sharma, Isma Parween, Hina Chaudhary, Zainab Fatima, Sadhna Bhartiya, Shabnoor Fatima and Anam Shakeel spoke on various aspects of the Hindi Diwas.
Mrs. Saima Ahsan extended a vote of thanks, while Asna Saleem and Adeeba Mirza conducted the programme.
