Horti (P&M) Dept organizes exhibition at World Trade Centre, Mumbai

Mumbai: Director Horticulture, Planning & Marketing, J&K, Imam Din attended the Panacea 9th Natural Products Expo India held at World Trade Centre, Mumbai.
He was among the Chief Guests in the three days exhibition cum conference. The delegates in the Expo were from different countries and from various parts of India.
Addressing the gathering, the Director HPM highlighted the role of Horticulture Sector in the economy of J&K and its advantage over other states in terms of the diversity of the fruit produced (both fresh & dry) and its export within and outside the country.
The Director invited the exhibitors and foreign delegates for the upcoming Investors Summit to be held in J&K later this year. Organic products from the state were exhibited in the stall put up by the department which was visited by large number of people.
The Director also visited the sales outlet of the department at World Trade Centre and other assets and issued directions for proper maintenance.
On the occasion, the traders and growers from J&K met him and informed him about their grievances. The Director, in response, assured them of early intervention and timely action.
