Horticulture Deptt conducts auction of fruit

Jammu: Department of Horticulture Jammu today conducted auction of Fruit/Dry wood/green grass produced in Departmental Nurseries and Revenue orchards of Jammu Division.

The auction was held under the chairmanship of Director Horticulture Jammu, Ram Savak in the Horticulture Complex Talab Tillo in the presence of Committee members while strictly adhering to the COVID-19 protocol.

The auction proceedings of Thirty Three fruit plant nurseries including revenue orchards of the Horticulture Department Jammu was finalized by the Committee members in which a revenue of Rs. 760000.00 (Rupees Seven lakh Sixty thousand only) shall be generated for the year 2021-22. Further it was decided that the auction of left over nurseries/revenue orchards shall be conducted on the spot by the Chief Horticulture Officers in their respective districts.
