Horticulture Planning & Marketing Department organises awareness camp at Ramban

RAMBAN: Department of Horticulture (Planning & Marketing) organised an awareness camp on Prime Minister’s Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) scheme at Gandhri under the supervision of District Nodal Officer, Ramban, Area Marketing Officer, Ramban, Sunil Bakshi.

In the camp Sectoral Officers of Departments of Agriculture and Horticulture(Planning & Marketing had an interaction with local PRIs and Bungus Valley FPO,Gandhri block besides farmers of Gandhri Block.

Awareness regarding the PMFME scheme was given to them by AMO,Sunil Bakshi.

The AEO, Ramban, Jagdish Bali and AGMO, Batote,Raju Zutshi educated the PRIs and farmers about various Centrally Sponsored Schemes and the importance of value addition of farm products.

The PRIs and FPO members appreciated the technical guidance on the processing of apple and pickle making.

DRP Ramban, Mudassar Rashid also educated the farmers in the camp.
