HP Board examinations starting from April 13 , result by June 18 : Chairman

Dharamsala: Dr Suresh Kumar Soni, Chairman HP Board of School Education said that annual examinations this year are starting from April 13 .

He said, “ During previous years the board exams for class X and XII started in the first week of March and the results come out in May every year. If you all know, due to Corona Pandemic, the studies of the children were conducted online, but now the children are studying regularly In the schools ,so we are now starting examinations from April 13 to give them more time to prepare for exams. These examinations will end on May 10.

And by June 18, we will try to declare the result.”

He further informed that as we compare the students appearing this year to previous year, about 26000 more students will appear in the 10th and 12th examination this year. Last year 104323 students had taken the exam in the 10th class and 86633 students appeared in the class 12th examination , whereas this year 116949 students will sit in the tenth class exam and 100974 students shall appear for class 12 th exam.
