HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar visit C.V. Raman College of Engineering

 

Bhubaneswar: Minister of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India Shri Prakash Javadekar visited C.V. Raman College of Engineering, Bhubaneswar on 16th April at 5 P.M. in order to inaugurate Industrial Robotics & Tool Room –CUM- Training Centre.
During their visit Hon’ble Minister came to the 13 centers of excellence that already exist on the campus. They appreciated the efforts of Shri Sanjib Kumar Rout, on setting up centers of excellence so as to inculcate in the students a spirit of enquiry and technical advancement.
During the inauguration session Hon’ble Minister of HRD Shri Prakash Javadekar congratulated C.V. Raman College of Engineering on being placed within the top 100 engineering institution of the country and inspired the students and the faculty members of the institution while encouraging them to pursue technological advancement through automation and robotics in order to bring a rapid industrialization India needs engineers skilled in such technology. As India is moving from an agrarian society to an industrial one, such radical steps have become mandatory.
Shri Sanjib Kumar Rout, Chairman, CVRGI expressed his gratitude to the visiting dignitaries and assured them that C.V. Raman College of Engineering would always be in the forefront to spread education and technology collaborating with industry.
