Hyderabad School Students to Experience Politics at the Legislative Assembly with WhatIsMyGoal
Hyderabad : The Legislative Assembly in Hyderabad, Telangana will be buzzing with excitement as 200 students from 50 schools will be gathering to gain a first-hand experience of politics. Earlier today, the IT minister of Telangana, Sri K T Rama Rao garu launched the U18 elections organized by WhatIsMyGoal, a startup based out of Hyderabad.
The U18 Elections will see students from across the state compete for a range of positions for the mock assembly.
Speaking about the under-18 elections conducted by WhatIsMyGoal, Dr Shanta Thoutam, Chief Innovation Officer of Telangana, TSIC said, ” Glad to support our startup Whatismygoal with this unique initiative to sensitise the school students about various career opportunities including the political statesmanship. Today, through this visit to our state assembly, it is giving them first-hand exposure to learn about the progressive governance of Telangana, its legislative bodies, and their day-to-day functionalities. This is a first of its kind activity inspiring and engaging students across the state to immerse in the mock Under-18 elections and legislative sessions over the next few weeks”.
