ICAI is hosting the National Education Summit on Commerce & Accountancy (NES-CA 2024) at Pullman Aerocity, New Delhi, on January 22nd and 23rd, 2024. On the sidelines of the summit a Press Conference will be held on 22nd January at 12:00 PM at Pullman Aerocity, New Delhi, wherein CA. Aniket Sunil Talati, President, ICAI and CA. Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, Vice-President, ICAI will be present.
The summit will be inaugurated by Shri K Sanjay Murthy, Secretary, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. More than 100 universities and colleges from over 20 states will be participating in this summit. The event will also witness the signing o f Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with various universities.
NES-CA 2024 is an initiative by ICAI to Synergize University Education with Professional Accountancy Education. The event aims to integrate Commerce curriculum with CA curriculum through an inclusive approach with ICAI extending support to institutions in various aspects, including the development of Commerce Syllabi, Content Development, Online & Recorded Lectures, and Faculty Development Programmes. There will be a special focus on Hands-on Learning: Bridging Theory and Practice.
NES-CA 2024 also aims to foster financial resilience and enhance decision making ability of individuals, thereby enabling them to counter financial challenges across various life stages with confidence. The objective of NES-CA is to standardize Commerce, Accountancy & Tax education and to integrate Commerce curriculum with CA curriculum by following an Inclusive Approach:
