ICDS launches awareness program at CHC Katra

REASI: As part of PMMVY Sabtah and POSHAN Abhiyan Maah, Project Officer, ICDS, Reasi, Renu Kumari today launched an awareness program to aware women folk about the objectives and benefits of Prime Minister Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) and Poshan Abhiyan here at CHC, Katra.

During the awareness program, PO, Renu Kumari highlighted the various initiatives being taken by the government for the welfare of the women folk.

On the occasion, Renu Kumari also distributed pamphlets of the schemes among the pregnant and lactating women so they can get the knowledge of the program and take benefits accordingly.

While speaking on the occasion, Dr Sanyogita Arti, Gynaecologist and Dr Virender, Prediatrician, POICD Reasi briefed and explained the benefits in detail about the schemes being run by the Ministry of Women and Child Welfare, GoI and also stressed on people to come forward for avail benefits of the scheme.

Several senior officers and officials of Health and other concerned Departments were also present on the occasion.
