ICSSR awarded major research project

Aligarh : Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) awarded major research project titled “Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Inflows in Post Covid19 scenario: Developing Neural Network Feed-forward Structure for India” to Project Director, Prof Nawab Ali Khan, Chairman, Department of Commerce, AMU, and Co-Project Director Dr Mohd Nayyer Rahman, Department of Commerce.

The project was awarded after a rigorous screening process at the national level. The project aims to study the causal linkages for FDI Inflows with other macroeconomic variables by applying the neural network approach of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Model. These causal linkages will produce scientific and empirical evidence to devise a plan for attracting FDI Inflows in India in a post Covid19 epoch.

The expected outcomes of the project are workshops on application of neural networks, research publications on FDI in India, and collaborative events.

The project will also promote the application of computational techniques in Social Sciences.
