ICSSR fellowship to retired faculty member

Aligarh: A retired faculty member of AMU, Prof M Hafiz Ilyas Khan, Department of Psychology, has got the senior fellowship of Indian Council of Social Science Research and the university has notified that Professor Hafiz Ilyas will work on the project, ‘Effect of Accumulative Stress and Alienation on Social Well Being and Academic Performance among Students of Different States in India.’ Simultaneously, he will also be involved in a Canada based Paraza Pharma Inc. project entitled, ‘Spiritual Values, Psychological Capital as Predictors of Work-Related Well-Being among Indian and Canadian Pharmacists’ to be carried out at the Department of Psychology.

Prof Hafiz Ilyas will receive a monthly stipend and an annual grant for the period from December 6, 2019 to December 5, 2020 as a part of his ICSSR fellowship, whereas the Paraza Pharma Inc project will be carried out at a cost of Rs 15 lacs.
