IESA Gujarat Chapter Member’s Meet Event on 15 September 2022

Ahmedabad: India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA), the premier industry organization representing the Semiconductor and Electronics Systems design and manufacturing (ESDM) Industry in India conducted its IESA Gujarat Chapter members meeting this week. The event was graced by eminent personalities like Shri Nilesh Desai, Director of Space Application Center (ISRO), Shri Videh Khare, IAS, MD Gujarat State Electronic Mission, and Vivek Tyagi, Chairperson of IESA.
The mission behind the launch of the Gujarat Electronics and Software Industries Association (GESIA)-IESA Gujarat Mission was to bring together ESDM companies in Gujarat on a common platform. The initiative’s goal is to support the growth of the ESDM ecosystem and provide support for businesses operating in semiconductor and electronics manufacturing, semiconductor and electronics systems design, semiconductor and electronic component design and manufacturing, and other industries.
This launch will open doors for technical collaboration and R&D, business development, market access, and access to capital for ESDM and related companies in Gujarat. The meeting included interactions with the academic community to facilitate connections between industry and academia to promote research and place an emphasis on the growth of talent and skills for the ESDM and semiconductor industries. IESA will be the ESDM Knowledge partner to the State and Central governments.
The chapter will closely work with GESIA and ESDM community of Gujarat. Mr Sudhir Naik has been appointed as chairman and Mr Ganesh Jivani as Vice Chairman of IESA Gujarat Chapter.
Some of the founding members of the IESA Gujarat Chapter are Jay Desai, CEO Pima Controls Pvt ltd, Aniruddha Brahmbhatt, AVP Hitachi Hi-Rel Power electronics, CEO of Amitron, Baroda, Nilesh Ranpura, Director Engineering, eInfochips, Samir Shroff, Founder and CEO, Pronesis, Ashvini Navadia, Founder & CEO Vinrox Vadodara, Upendra Patel,Founder &CEO, Glide Tech and Syntiant Hitesh Thakkar, Director of Sales India.
The chapter will play a vital role in the region with respect to the ESDM ecosystem and Semiconductor space. IESA regional chapters organize these periodic meetings in key areas on a regular basis to emphasize cooperation and information sharing with a view to boosting the Semiconductors and ESDM ecosystem in India.
